Hello there,
I am currently working as
Principal at Vidush Somany Institute of Technology and Research which is a
constituent institute of Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya Gandhinagar under the aegis
of Sarva Vidyalaya Kelavani Mandal Kadi which has more than 100 years of
philanthropic academic legacy. Having more than 21 years of teaching
experience, I have served at various positions starting from Lecture, Assistant
Professor, Associate Professor, Professor, Principal, Dean and Chairman Board
of Study. I completed my Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from National Institute
of Technology (SVNIT), Surat with Cloud Computing as the major domain for
research. I pursued my Post Graduation Programme M.E. with specialization in
Microprocessors from M. S. University, Baroda and Graduate Programme B.E. -
Computer Engineering from BVM Sardar Patel University, Vallabh
Vidhyanagar. I have more than 90 research papers in various conferences & journals of national and
international repute. One of my papers has been awarded Elsevier’s best paper
award and three more were linked to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, helping to tackle some of the world's great challenges. I have successfully supervised two Ph.D. candidates. Apart from
delivering numerous expert talks at various organizations, I also spared my services
to IIT, Gandhinagar as a guest faculty for two semesters. I also acted as a
reviewer & session chair for many conferences. I am the member of
Doctoral/Research Progress Committee for many research scholars at various
universities. A few of my subjects of interest are Cloud Computing, Parallel
Programming, Computer Networking, Information Security, IoT, and Blockchain.
